Nestled within Chester's historic city walls sits Fika+, a Café that's famous for its Cruffins, Croissants and Cinnamon Swirls. Supplied by its very own plant-based micro-bakery, Fika+ bake everything in-house using locally sourced produce as much as possible.
This quaint little coffee shop offers you the chance to kick back and relax whilst watching passersby at the window bar or, if you prefer, the handful of tables that form the rest of the Cafe make for a cosy makeshift home office should you wish to retreat and get some work done (or get stuck in to a good old book).
When thinking of a name that encapsulated the values of owners Naomi and David they said, "Fika felt like the perfect fit'. A Swedish term for 'A moment to slow down and appreciate the amazing things in life; coffee with friends", Fika+ is also an acronym for all the things the duo love;
F - for the planet
i - inclusive
k - kind to animals
a - artisan
+ - so much more
With people often amazed by the quality and taste of Fika's offerings, the coffee shop is now famous for its bakes, cakes and pastries. They've done a fantastic job at showcasing that their vegan produce is equally as delicious as the more traditional dairy versions made with animal products.
Fika+ are passionate about supporting other local businesses and stock a selection of small independents at the cafe such as Vegan artisan chocolatier Pangea Chocolat plus their independent coffee roasters are just a stone's throw away in Llandudno, Wales.
From Flat Whites and Cortados to Amaretti Biscuits and home-baked Sourdough bread, Fika+ invites you to chill out, relax and sample their selection of ambrosian bakes, cakes and other sweet treats.
